For most 7 year olds, the original Ghostbusters is a yes, with a warning that is mostly about the jokes. It scores 38 on the ScoutScore, in the Mild tier, and the ghosts are the lesser flag: a library spectre, a possession, and a final-act demon dog are all played for fun. What parents forget is the language and the innuendo, which run the whole movie and aim at adults with a straight face.
